QAT from its inception in 2000 has been supplying equipment and services into biotech, biomedical, biologics and pharmaceutical sectors. QAT is the sole supplier of high technology air management units to the World’s only manufacturer of fully sealed Individually Ventilated Cage (IVC) systems - Arrowmight.  QAT’s portable glove box the P.C.I has also played an important role in this sector where a modified version was used to provide a variable oxygen environment from 10% to 75%.  We also supply digital control systems for Biotech isolator systems, which now include fully integrated VHP fumigation control.

 

Background

 

Allergens are airborne particles that can cause an allergic response in people when contacted or inhaled. HEPA filtration can be used in conjunction with air handling to filter these particles out of the air. This provides a particle free environment that is safe to work in. Alternatively, containment technology can be used to prevent allergens from leaving a controlled volume, rendering the surrounding area safe.
